A very friendly resort. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. A few stood out: • Sofia at the front desk, who kept us calm and worked out the internal oversight on our all-inclusive fees. An amazing young lady, and so many languages! She will go far. • Arianny at the members bar. (Who I'm not surprised to see got her own glowing review from another guest who was there when we were.) Always cheerful, and does indeed mix a great drink. • Francisco in the à la carte restaurants (at least 2 of the 4 we tried!) Cheerful, friendly, a pleasure to speak with, and so welcoming. • Rebecca, also in the à la cartes; cheerful and welcoming. • Ana in the Atlantic Bar; a pleasant young lady who also mixes a mean drink. • Desi at V Kitchen, who managed to have the chefs whip up a chicken soup from scratch, while my better half was feeling miserable and sick. A life saver! Between the above stomach bug, and the cold that caught me on day 5, not a perfect trip, but definitely made easier by a genuinely caring and helpful staff. Viva Heavens is a little over half the size of Viva Tangerine in Cabarete, which we visited last spring. Tangerine staff were every bit as friendly, but the smaller size of Viva Heavens gives a noticeably more intimate vibe. Lovely and clean beach, which we enjoyed walking every morning. The short walk to the beach is quite manageable, and is mostly level. Lots of birds and turtles to watch along the way, adjacent to the well-maintained path. One suggestion: a number of well-meaning guests were trying to throw bread to the turtles. Neither the turtles nor the birds are blessed with much brain power, so they gobble it right up, not realizing it's bad for them. Perhaps a sign asking visitors not to feed the wildlife, and maybe explaining why, or what to feed them, might be in order. The 3 lobby cats were also a bonus. Maybe next time we'll sneak them some food! (But it will definitely be cat food!😊) A couple of observations: • it would be great if there were a few more covered tables outside. Not sure where they'd go, but it was very evident anytime it rained that there wasn't enough seating, especially if V Kitchen was closed between meals. • not on Viva Heavens site per se, I'm sure, but either on one of the access roads or an adjoining property, there was a car alarm that sounded repeatedly over several days. There's only so much that sleep earbuds can do, and we were a little surprised that no one at any of the adjoining sites (or this one) ever called the police to have the offending vehicle towed, or the alarm shut off. All in all, though, thanks for a very enjoyable week!

Amazing and very relaxing
A wonderful trip as akways, this is our fourth time here and have always enjoyed it. Great food, great beach, first class service, staff is very friendly and helpful. Our Room Maid Mercede M. Was fantadtic, we stayed in building 4 first floor room 4102. The room was always nice and fresh with clean towels and linen. Mercedes us very friendly and always treated us with kindness. Maintenance was great and came very quickly to check out our air conditioner and had it working properly very quickly. It worked great the entire two weeks. Kitchen staff was wonderful all the time at the restaurants as well as the buffet and the bar staff was very freindly and speedy. We had a great time.

First let's me start by saying this is a really nice spot, very clean, good food, good staff. Where they lack, not enough umbrellas at the pool, no lobby bar and if you don't read the fine print no balcony and very small rooms. Very crowded beach the chairs are almost one on top of each other, pool bar was great, very convenient also the bathroom at the beach bar very clean and never ran out of tp. All in all I would recommend if you don't have any issues with what i though was lacking.

My opinion
I would like to comment on Stephanie's behavior, who without asking her opinion or not even was dealing with him barged in my conversation with the very respectful and polite Jhoeney. We lived a very stressful day having a delay with TS890 and her being rude for no reason. It was a very unpleasant experience. She had no right to give her opinion when she is not asked. Plus all the other issues, water innondation in my room. But Sophia Reception Supervisor was AMAZING.

Relaxing vacation!
Excellent resort! The staff are very friendly. Smaller resort with great food and variety. Ocean and pool are perfect! We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back.
