We had the best time at La Estancia, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, Jesus and Angel at the pool always made sure we were as comfortable as possible!

Gabriella with Housekeeping.. “The BEST!”
We recently enjoyed a 5 week vacation beginning 2/25/26 thru 3/31/26 in an ocean front 3 bedroom at Villa Del Palmar La estancia beach resort. Although we question the management from time to time in their tactics, we are always very impressed and appreciative of the excellent blue collar workers that work at the VDP resorts. In particular our room cleaning maid, Gabriella with housekeeping was nothing short of amazing. She did all the extra things to make our stay a great experience. She’s the best!! And she is the reason I write this review…, to give her credit for the amazing job she is doing in the Housekeeping staff.

Wonderful Family Friendly Resort
La Estancia was amazing! Not only are the rooms, pools, facilities, and oceanfront extremely clean and well cared for but the staff was extraordinary! My family and I had such a great time. Jesus, Angel, and Ivan went above and beyond to ensure our comfort during our stay. If you are in the fence about booking this resort, I highly encourage you to go for it! Jesus & Angel helped secure us a spot by the pool or the ocean every morning. They were up well before 7am ensuring everything was perfect for the guests. Ivan even bought my 1.5 year old nephew some medicine and hand delivered it to us by the pool. You can tell the staff really cares about creating the perfect experience. The swim up bar in the pool was one of my favorite spots! The drinks were delicious. Raul blended the best frozen beverages and Lucio was always so kind. Jorge at La Parilla even offered to make some parmesan buttered noodles, off menu, for my nephew. This resort is family friendly and the rooms are wonderful! Norma ensured our fridge was stocked with drinks and snacks every day. She was extremely kind and we appreciated her attention to detail. She even left us some cute towel animals. I would 100% return to this resort. The beaches were incredible and not too crowded. The sand was soft and we saw some stingrays, some pufferfish, and numerous other fish. The staff even provided the kids with some boogie boards to play with. Overall this was an awesome vacation that my family won’t soon forget. My only note is the food isn’t super vegan friendly so if you are looking for that I suggest Uber Eats or traveling to a grocery store to stock up on items you can cook in your room. The resort has some options but not many high protein ones. Regardless this was such a wonderful vacation and I hope to return one day. Thank you to all the exceptional staff!

We left our hearts in Paradise
We just returned from Villa La Estancia for our daughter’s and niece’s senior trip and it exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with incredible warmth and hospitality. The resort was absolutely stunning—beautiful beach, lush grounds, and spotless facilities. The food was a highlight—so many delicious options, from authentic Mexican cuisine to international dishes, and even picky eaters were happy. The staff went above and beyond every day to make sure we were comfortable and having fun. We also appreciated how safe, organized, and family-friendly everything felt. Excursions were easy to book, and we made unforgettable memories exploring the area. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and quality family time, look no further. We’re already dreaming about our next trip back!
