Tucked away on a secluded 100-acre peninsula on the southeastern coast of Antigua, the St. James's Club Resort & Villas exudes a casual, club-like ambiance. This all-inclusive hideaway caters to couples, families, and singles with its plethora of amenities
and activities. The family-friendly resort has a long-standing reputation for exceptional, caring service. Here, guests can retreat from the world or enjoy a wide array of island- and water-based diversions.
St. James's guests have several choices when it's time to refuel. The Docksider is known as much for its panoramic water views and charming nautical decor as its Caribbean-inspired dishes. Thursday evenings feature steel-pan performers who turn up the heat
with Caribbean Calypso music. Those who wish to dine in a more tranquil setting may do so at the resort's signature fine-dining restaurant, Piccolo Mondo. For casual dining, the informal Coco Beach Restaurant & Bar offers sea views and a selection of salads,
soups, burgers, and pastas.
St. James's Club Resort & Villas has four lounges and bars. The Reef Deck bar beckons adjacent to the main pool. The two beach bars (Mamora Bay Bar and Coco Beach Bar) feature the resort's signature rum punch. A beach cart with soda, beer, rum, and fruit punch
also provides refreshments to sun worshippers. The Jacaranda Lounge features nightly entertainment.
Two white-sand beaches offer a host of fun-filled activities. Coco Beach is like an aquarium for snorkelers, while the calm waters of Mamora Bay are ideal for swimming. St. James's Club provides complimentary non-motorized watersports such as kayaking, pedal
boating, and catamaran sailing. Tucked into a quiet corner of the The Club area is the Tennis Center, with four hard courts and two artificial turf courts. Four courts are lit for night play.
Guests can also sunbathe, take a dip in six distinctive swimming pools, and succumb to the pleasures of a spa and salon. Spa Tranquility is an expansive and elegantly appointed hideaway for pampering and restorative treatments for the body and skin (fee). The
seaside gym has floor-to-ceiling windows looking out at the ocean, providing an inspiring setting for workouts.
Young guests getting restless? The St. James's Club Kidz Club is situated in the heart of the resort overlooking Coco's Beach.

First time to Antigua
Overall we had a fab 9 nights at St James. The staff were friendly and our room was clean. I would not say it was 4 star though. We were given 2 bottles of water on arrival but after that we had to keep asking for them, surely we should have been 2 new ones each day. Did not like that you had to book restaurants all the time giving 48 hours notice. It’s advertised as having all these restaurants but they were only open on certain evenings! Also it was very disappointing that we could only use one beach as the other one was full of seaweed!! Also the water on the beach you could use was very murky and sent some jewellery of mine tarnished! The best beach to go to was Pigeon Point which was a taxi ride away. The taxis were quite expensive and when I booked this complex it did say they had a shuttle bus! But when I asked they didn’t! The entertainment was very low key and finished at 9.30!!! I thought that a little early. Saying all this we did have a fab holiday and the place was very chilled. Another little moan the bedroom drawers did not close properly which was very annoying !!

Home away from Home 🏖️☀️🐠🥘
This has been our third stay at St. James club and our 4th trip to Antigua. Loved everything about the resort from most friendly staff , delicious meals, mamora cafe and relaxing atmosphere. The Friday night beach party and dining at Piccolo Mondo was our favourite. We understand the problem with the sargassum in April due to changing ocean currents and nutrient run offs from the Amazon. We couldn’t make our usual trip for January but we didn’t let the sargassum issue bother us. We took a cab twice to Nelsons dockyard and hiked up to the fort at English Harbour. The Sunday we were there we were able to see the Regatta race with the sailboats which was fun to watch them come into the harbour. Highly recommend Pillars restaurant for dinner and Copper & Lumber for lunch. We made friends with so many guests. It was truly an enjoyable week.

Can’t wait to go back’
My family and I stayed at the St. James’s Club in November 2025, and it was such a meaningful and memorable trip for all of us. My parents were born and raised in Antigua, and growing up, my sister and I spent many summers there with family in Wilikies. As adults, we began staying at a resort in the area, and this was our first visit back since COVID—making it even more special. It was beautiful to see how happy my parents were to be home. There were 11 of us in total, including a one-year-old, and the resort made our large family feel so welcome. My husband and I had a bay-side room facing the dock, which had the most incredible view. My parents and in-laws had similar rooms, while my sister and her family stayed on the ocean side—honestly, every view was stunning. By the end of the week, the staff knew us all by name, and it truly felt like home. They were especially kind and patient with my niece. When she had a fall at the café and split her lip, one staff member immediately sprang into action—bringing a first aid kit and ice, and calling security to escort her and her parents back to their room for privacy. I’ll never forget how quickly and compassionately they responded. Despite being such a large group, the restaurants always did their best to accommodate us for dinner together each night, and we were so grateful that they made it happen every time. The evening entertainment was fantastic—from dancing to the magic show, we had so much fun and found ourselves on the dance floor almost every night. The Friday night beach party was truly unforgettable. Watching the staff prepare, and then experiencing the food, music, and performances, made for such a magical evening. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip. We’re already planning our return for November 2026, when my parents will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. We’re so excited to celebrate such a special milestone surrounded by family and friends in a place that means so much to us. Thank you to everyone at St. James’s Club for your warm hospitality. We’re looking forward to another beautiful, restful trip filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. See you in November!
