Apr 20, 2026DO NOT STAY HERE - Total Nightmare & Zero Service
I booked this hotel to celebrate my engagement, but it was the worst mistake I’ve ever made. The entire stay was ruined by non-stop, deafening construction noise that made it impossible to rest in the room or even sit by the pool. Management is completely deceptive; they lied to our faces saying the work would stop, only for us to be woken up by drilling at 8:30 AM. When we complained, the staff was dismissive and condescending, offering insulting "solutions" like a single cocktail for a ruined vacation. They charge full price while hiding the fact that the hotel is a construction site. Save your money and your sanity—stay anywhere else!

The hotel was clean, staff were helpful and the view from our sea front room was brilliant. The bed was so comfortable. Loved that sun beds were free on the beach. The pool was also lovely with shaded areas if needed. The breakfast was great - something for everyone. It set us up for the day. The location was great. Yes, we needed transport to south beach, although did enjoy a walk along promenade one day. The free trolley stops right outside the hotel and was probably more convenient than a taxi. Buses were regular and also really convenient. We would definitely stay again

Family vacation
The hotel was in a great location, everyone was very friendly and helpful, all areas of the hotel were clean and kept well, and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic at the buffet

Miami Beach Vacation
Great hotel in a great location! We enjoyed our stay and the accommodations at the Riu. The daily breakfast included with our stay was perfect! We will definitely consider this hotel when we come back to Miami Beach!

Apr 13, 2026This hotel needs a shower/changing room
Had a lovely stay, nice big clean room, lovely buffet breakfast - can get busy. Great location on the beachfront. My only problem with this hotel was no room was available to shower and change before our late transatlantic flight home. I was charged 75 dollars to keep my till 3pm. Had to shower early and hang around. Or alternatively I was advised by the receptionist to shower around the pool with no privacy and get changed in the toilets. Big let down on our last day. Wouldn’t return due to this issue.
