We had an amazing stay at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica, and one of the best decisions we made was booking our tours with NomadTourscr Gabriel took care of everything from the very beginning, including our airport transportation, which made our arrival and departure completely smooth and stress-free. What we really appreciated was how easy everything was,direct pickup at the hotel, flexible scheduling, and the option to customize private tours based on what we wanted to do. During our stay, we enjoyed an incredible mix of adventures. The ATV tour was a lot of fun, especially combined with ziplining (canopy), giving us both adrenaline and amazing views. Another unforgettable experience was the hike to La Leona Waterfall, a unique adventure walking through rivers and canyons that felt truly special. We also loved that everything was well organized and on time, allowing us to enjoy both the resort and the tours without feeling rushed. If you’re staying at Planet Hollywood, we highly recommend booking with Nomad, especially if you’re looking for reliable transportation, private experiences, and well-organized tours.

Perfect Hospitality!!!
After spending a few days, for my wife’s work, at another very high end resort in Costa Rica, which was very nice. My wife and I decided we were going to spend a few days to unwind at the Planet Hollywood all inclusive resort. We are only about a half way through our stay but everything has been totally amazing. Our butler, Daniel has been extremely helpful and super friendly. We wanted to book a dinner for the two of us. Daniel recommended the private romantic dinner for two. He even made sure that a few minor food requests were taken care of. He met us at the restaurant and introduced us to our waiter, Bryan. We had a secluded spot overlooking the beach and pool area of the resort. It was perfect. We had such a great time, Bryan was so personable, a great conversationalist, and the food was amazing. This meal was prepared perfectly, not rushed but also not too long. This was the the best meal we had all week, including the other high end resort we stayed at,

I have never been to a Marriott brand hotel where everything you asked for was met with a frown, or attitude, or we can't check on your Cabana reservation becayse systems can't see the Cabana requests and you have to go to the pool area to check. I paid for a Butler who was useless most of the trip. The food was horrible. The hotel price is premium but they still nickel and dime to try to get you to pay more. The hotel site should be advertised as on the Bay and not ocean. This hotel is not oceanfront. The Nexus transportation team located in the hotel screwed up our reservation. Never apologied. I WILL NEVER RETURN. IF YOU WANT SERVICE DON'T GO HERE.

This is a beautiful, clean, modern facility. Our Junior Suite was great, with lots of storage. The common areas: restaurants, lobby, bars, etc are bright and very well maintained. The highlight was the service people—each and every one!! They are there to make your vacation memorable and try their best at every turn. A couple of these rise above the rest: our personal butler, Areal, was outstanding. We saw him every day, as he wanted to make sure we had no questions or issues. If Areal is assigned to you, you will have hit the jackpot!! Another excellent representative is Yeraly, who works at the star level pool. Not only is he there to get you food and drinks, but to even adjust your umbrella as the sun shifts! And all with a great smile. The premium (or star level) is a MUST!!!! It offers so many great perks. I would never think of returning without it. A couple of disappointments: most pressing was the location of our room. It was on the second floor and there’s no elevator!! Also the “stunning view” that is touted fell flat for us. Our view was the back wall of the fitness center. We asked to be moved, but there was no room better for us to be moved to. How does a premium room have no elevator in the building and a view that sucks!!!! Also, I didn’t realize that this resort is actually built on the side of a very steep hill. Walking the grounds is NOT really feasible. You really need to call for a shuttle to pick you up at your building and transport you to where you need to go. It works pretty well for what it is. Lastly, I found the beach a disappointment. It’s really not a place to enjoy the sand and sea !! And there are lots of local vendors who are around to tempt you to buy their massage or tour or bracelets—to the point it can get annoying. I’m surprised that activity is not restricted better. Overall, a good visit to a beautiful country.
