  Awesome

  We booked this trip to repeat the great trip we had in 2025 and we were not disappointed. The sand and ocean were at our door and it was beautiful Our concierge this trip was Christopher He made sure we had everything we needed He got us reservations at a different “a la carte” restaurant every nite working around our schedule We had Thanks to Christopher and all the staff at the Adults only section of the resort- we had a wonderful vacation

  Not a 5-star experience - extremely disappointing stay

  We chose this resort expecting a true 5-star experience, especially because it had been renovated in the last 2 years. Unfortunately, it has been one of the most disappointing hotel stays we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, things started off disappointingly. We checked in at 3:00 PM and quickly realized that the sofa bed mattress in our room was completely unacceptable, you could feel every spring, making it impossible to sleep on. They knew we were 3 mothers. We reported this issue to the front desk around 5:00 PM before dinner and were assured it would be resolved. When we returned at 9:30 PM, exhausted from traveling, nothing had been done. Cockroach: The situation got worse when we discovered a large cockroach on the wall of our room. While we understand that insects can occasionally happen in tropical destinations, this is absolutely not acceptable in a hotel that claims to be 5-star. Even more concerning was the lack of urgency or proper response from staff when we reported it. We have photos documenting these issues, its not an exaggeration. We were told that “a” manager would contact us the following day at 10:00 AM. No such contact was made. We were instead obliged to follow up again, and only received a response at 3:22 PM the next day. This delay further demonstrates a lack of prompt and appropriate handling of the situation. The proposed alternative only included a room change within the same building. The Melia will probably answer in this chat that they responded rapidly and with a nice offer. This is not true and I have WhatsApp chat to prove it. After2 days of discussion with them, meaning we had to fight for a proper upgrade, an additional “compensation” was offered, including access to a Bali bed, a 30-minute massage (only 2, and we were 3). These compensation are wholly inadequate given the circumstances. It does not compensate for the distress experienced, including the discomfort and concern associated with the presence of the insect, the repeated delays, the effort required to obtain responses, and the attitude displayed by your staff. Lying to customer: At check-in, we requested to pay the USD 450 upgrade fee for access to “The Reserve” section. The front desk employee informed us that no availability remained. However, in parallel, I contacted the representative by email, who advised that rooms were indeed available and that we should present ourselves accordingly. This inconsistency raises concerns regarding the accuracy of the information provided and the overall standard of customer service. Additional hidden fees: To make matters worse, the next morning we were told that if we wanted beach chairs with an ocean view, we would need to pay an additional fee. Charging extra for basic beach access in an all-inclusive resort, especially at this price point, is simply unacceptable. Overall, the service, responsiveness, and quality of the experience do not match the level this hotel advertises. At this price, guests should not have to deal with uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, hygiene concerns, and constant upselling. We strongly recommend future travelers to reconsider before booking here, as this property does not deliver on its promises. We believe that transparency is important, and as such, we intend to accurately report our experience. Note that I have not uploaded all WhatsApp conv. But did upload the insect photo. Overall, the resort offers excellent food, the buffet is varied and high quality, and the steakhouse is outstanding. However, the wine selection is disappointing, and the à la carte options are priced at an excessive markup. More importantly, the overall management approach at the Melia property feels lacking. There is a clear absence of follow-up and accountability, which gives the impression that issues are left unresolved in the hope that guests will simply move on. For example, a meaningful room upgrade could likely have mitigated the impact of the first night and improved the rest of the stay, rather than having to deal with ongoing discomfort. The so-called “upgrades” offered (such as a short massage or access to a Bali bed with additional hidden fees) feel superficial and do not reflect the level of service expected from a resort of this category. In higher-quality resorts such as Club Med, more substantial gestures are typically made to address guest concerns and make them come back. This contrast gives the impression that Melia prioritizes revenue without delivering a comparable level of service in return.

  Spring Break

  My family and I had a great experience Paradisus Palma Real and hope to make it back someday. The resort was clean and the staff was excellent. Very family friendly.

  Most relaxing vacay ever!

  Staff was great, so many options every day for food and entertainment. Great bars, plenty of beach chairs, pool chairs. Hassle free, no lines, spacious no crowds. Variety of everything,

  My Paradisus experience

  Best entertainment they taught me a few dances which were pretty fun and also a chill guy named Irvin kicks a lot of laughs at us he’s really funny worth visiting here
