  Hits and Misses but Overall- Worth It.

  We spent a week at the Paradisus at the end of March 2026. Firstly, they refer to all the rooms as "suites". To me, a suite is more than a single room, so i was a bit bummed out when the "Reserve- Ocean Front King Suite" we booked turned out to be just a normal room. We were in building 4 which is as far away from the "Reserve" ammenities as you can get. I was under the impression all "reserve" rooms were in the same building, not so. Had I known all this, I would not have booked an Ocean Front or Ocean View room, it is hardly worth the extra cost. Being able to use the reserve pool was nice, as it's much quieter than the main pool. The special "reserve" restaurant has pretty mediocre food for both breakfast and lunch. The lunch buffet near the pool was pretty terrible, we only ate there once. The steak restaurant was very good, however- the waiter kept trying to upsell us on everything. He kept trying to talk me out of the picanna- which I thought was excellent when it arrived. My wife had the "USDA Prime fillet" and it was great as well. The Italian restaurant- good pizza, bolognese was solid, stay away from the cabonara (it's made with cream), the NY strip steak was maybe a half inch thick. not great. The Mediterranean restaurant was absymal. I ordered the fillet medium-rare, it came out well done. The octopus was so overcooked it was like eating a rubberband. the burrata was just a hunk of hard cheese. We ended up getting room service that night. The Mexican restaurant and the Asian/sushi restaurant were excellent. no notes. everything was great. The breakfast buffet was pretty solid as well. We really enjoyed the little coffee and ice cream shoppe. The room itself was nothing to write home about. Standard king size bed, tiny tiny shower. The door doesn't seal on the shower, so water gets all over the floor. The shower wasn't draining the first day we got there. We let our concierge know and it was fixed the next day. We also came back to blood stains on the sheets one day. We called and they came and replaced them right away. The couch in our room had some questionable brown stains on it. The AC doesn't drop below 20C unless you unlock and reprogram the thermostat (google image search it for instructions). Having said all that- we did enjoy our time there. It was very relaxing. The pools were both great. The beach is nice and actually swimable. The ocean water is warm. We saw tons of whales each day. And most of all- the staff was very friendly, very easy to talk to, very welcoming. All in all, it's a slightly above average all inclusive.

  Bad beach

  no swimmable beach ,unsafe water, sand unable to walk, sand too soft, website misleading only reason i picked this hotel was it had a swimmable beach very disappointed

  Great stay for a relaxing vacation

  Although I traveled solo this a great place for couples. If you want to relax this is rhe place. Staff is great.

  Great Resort. Better Mission.

  We came for the ocean views. We stayed for the soul. Hotel Paradisus in Cabo is exactly what you’d hope for — ocean, pool & fabulous staff. But the highlight of our trip wasn’t the view from the terrace. Through Paradisus’s partnership with Hosanna Equinoterapias — and with the invaluable help of Sustainability Associate Specialist Brenda Nunez — our BG Staffing team was able to put our Be Good Do Good program into action. Brenda was the connective tissue that made everything possible, helping us collect donations from our travelers, introducing us to the Hossana staff and the parents of children impacted by the program, and letting us celebrate them during our own awards ceremony. It was amazing to connect directly to an organization doing beautiful, meaningful work through equine therapy in the local community. Turns out, doing good doesn’t stop at the border. And neither do we. Paradisus didn’t just give us a place to rest — they gave us a way to extend our culture of service across borders, connecting our people to something bigger than the trip itself.
