Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing, mainly due to the terrible service. The staff were consistently unhelpful, rude, and unwilling to assist with even basic requests. We waited over an hour just to receive towels and toilet paper after being told someone was “on the way”—which clearly wasn’t true. The experience at the resort restaurant, Sea Breeze, was even worse. We were shocked to find that we had to cook our own chicken on a lava rock after already waiting more than an hour for our food. To make matters worse, the waitress handled raw chicken and then placed the same utensils directly onto my plate—the one I was expected to eat from. When I asked for a clean plate, she rolled her eyes at me. That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. On top of that, she never brought the water we requested, forcing us to ask another staff member for help. Her attitude throughout was rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. It honestly makes you wonder how staff expect to receive tips when they clearly don’t care about the guests they are serving. Overall, this experience reflects very poor management. There is a serious lack of training, accountability, and basic respect for guests. This hotel is in desperate need of a complete overhaul if they want to provide even a minimally acceptable level of service. The only good things I can say about this resort is the location, the beach was nice and the food was very good. Other than that, I will never return back to this resort.

"My official letter to the DIVI" DUMP
Good morning, I wanted to tell you firsthand about my experience with your staff and service. First, I would like to say that I am a business owner and travel at least 6 times per year. I have never had a more awful trip then I did at your resort. The only thing that went well was 3 staff members, Melissa who I first encountered at the Ocean breeze restaurant the driver who took us to our room I am sorry I can’t remember his name he was a younger man in his 30s and Eline in reception. When I first arrived my room was not ready it was almost 4 pm so I understand that all rooms are not ready which I was ok with that. When I did enter my room which had no view it smelled like an old musty room the gentlemen who checked me in said it was an upgrade from what I originally booked. It was not it was in the old building not Oceans, I went back to reception and that is when I met Eline who was very happy and accommodating. She found an ocean front room which I was very happy with the view which made up for the fact that I never had a working safe, the air conditioner that sounded like a freight train or an airplane landing, the toilet seat that was too small for the toilet and the TV that never worked. With all of that I did reach out for maintenance but the only thing that I could tell they did was to turn the fan on continuous and stopped the loud noise now it was a more constant noise. They never did anything to fix safe TV or toilet seat. You can check it all out yourself room 1013 The last thing I want to bring to your attention was the staff! I have never and I mean never have been treated so poorly by staff with such poor attitudes. It was very disheartening to say the least. Every staff member besides the 3 that I mentioned above were incredibly rude, none of them smiled, have a nice day anything! I honestly wanted to ask if I had done something wrong. I just honestly couldn’t get my head around how they acted as if they hated their job they hated being there and they surely hated us! Even your bartenders normally when you are at a resort, they are happy and friendly and interact with the guests nope not at your resort if I seen 5 smiles the entire length of my stay that was from the 3 mentioned above. I do hope you take these complaints seriously and do some type of training; I even thought maybe because of my wrist band they don’t have to be nice but let me just say I am an extremely excellent tipper and I was very disappointed, that the staff didn’t deserve any! What is the deal with no music at the pool? This makes no sense to me it is like the fun police came around and SAID NO FUN HERE! I will never stay at another DIVI resort! Lastly my very last day I went to the Divi store and left my phone which was turned off according to my life 360 app at 2pm the time I left the store and never turned in. I will keep my own personal thoughts of what happened to it. It was less than a week old and worth $2000.00 dollars. I can honestly say that this was the icing on the cake to my stay at your resort. So sad about my entire experience

Apr 07, 2026Ocean Divi Little Bay is a gem!
We travelled on an all inclusive package for 7 days. The staff truly made this vacation special. I believe people treat you the way you treat them, and everyone at the Divi was warm and welcoming. A special thank you to the ladies at reception, and to Edrick and Felix for helping us get to our rooms. We travelled with our mothers, who had some mobility issues, but the golf cart service made getting around easy, especially with the stairs and longer walks. The food was fantastic! We found the Premium option, which you can pay for when you arrive, was worth it because it gave us access to all the restaurants and cafés on site and in turn offered more dinner options. Mimi and Caron at the breakfast buffet were lovely, and Laurel at the pizza place was a friendly face we were happy to see each day. Booking dinner reservations was easy, and we were never limited when reserving. Paolina at the Mix was awesome and made all our visits extra special! The property was clean, and the view from our third-floor Oceans room was amazing. Fort Amsterdam was also worth the short walk. We went every day to see the baby pelicans and iguanas and enjoy the beautiful views. The ocean and beach were beautiful, and getting beach chairs and umbrellas was never a problem. Every vacation is what you make of it. Things move on island time, so it may feel a little slower than what you are used to at home, but with the right attitude, you will have a wonderful time!

Absolutely terrible service
We came in with high expectations, but this was one of the worst resort experiences we’ve had. Yes, the location is beautiful and the room was fine — but everything else was a mess. The resort is severely and consistently understaffed. At multiple points during the day, there was only one bartender — not occasionally, but regularly — and that same person was also expected to run food orders. Lines for drinks would barely move because the bartender would disappear to pick up food elsewhere. It felt completely disorganized and poorly run. Waiting close to 2 hours for food wasn’t unusual, and 30+ minute waits just for a drink became the norm. Our last day summed it up perfectly. We lined up before 12:00 to grab something quick before leaving for the airport at 1:00. By 12:15, they hadn’t even started making a single order. There was clearly no chance we’d be fed before leaving — not even for something as simple as a hot dog. We raised concerns with a manager early in our stay and were told there would be follow-up. That never happened. The staff themselves seem overwhelmed and frustrated, which points to a larger issue. This is a management failure, not a staff issue. For the price, this level of service is unacceptable. The entire operation feels disorganized and neglected. We would not return.

Poor service in a wonderful place
A beautiful place and a beautiful beach that is ruined by rude workers. We opted for the premium all inclusive and we didn’t regret it workers keep complaining for being overworked and understaffed but this wouldn’t justify the rudeness in my opinion. Beach guy can walk by you totally ignoring your presence to set up chairs and umbrellas for people who are not even there. Server can easy ignore you while you’re standing waiting for a table as if you are an inconvenience to them. At breakfast we were sated at a dirty table when we asked one of servers to clean it out she blankly said “ why are you sitting at a dirty table?” Once we told her to check with the host who sat us there she just showed her angry face. At check out there was a grumpy yelling lady who after spending 15 minutes to look for the receipt that she claimed we had 9$ charged to our room when we didn’t. After she got the receipt out, it clearly was not our room number or names and all she said is “I’ll remove the charge” too arogsnt to apologize and acknowledge that she doesn’t need to dispute it she just need to apologize. The resort is very cheap with their checkout. If you’re waiting for a later flight they cut your bracelet and your all inclusive ends by breakfast. We travelled to multitude of Caribbean resorts and never had such a cheap ending. You can’t have any drinks or snack or anything. The lady even had the guts to say “if I see any charge even for ice cream anything other than breakfast, I’ll charge your credit card” such a bitter ending to a wonderful place. Bottom line such a wonderful place that is run down by rude workers and poor service
