Such a lovely week, wonderful hotel, friendly & polite staff who couldn’t do enough for us & always with a smile. Comfortable room, Good food options, great pool & beach. Monica in guest services was extremely helpful and although I hurt my toe off site the pool staff and life guards helped to clean & change my dressing regularly with extreme care and attention. We would highly recommend booking this hotel for your trip to Cancun. Thanks to all the team there.

Excellent Hotel and Staff
The hotel surpassed all our expectations. This was my second time staying but the first with my family group of 12. From before we arrived i was in contact with Monica from guest services to help organise and coordinate a 70th Birthday. Monica responded promptly to all my requests and met us on arrival to run through all the arrangements. She made herself available throughout our whole stay and we are very appreciative of her professionalism and customer care, going well beyond her regular duties to ensure that we had a great stay. The Hotel was immaculate. We had sea front rooms that made our stay feel like a luxury hotel experience, waking up to sunrises over the ocean. The Food was fantastic in all the resturants and the entertainment throughout the day was well organised. Every-one in the group was very pleased and satisfied with the services at this hotel and we look forward to returning here in the near future. Special thanks from all of us must go to Laura Mendes at the hotel reception. From check in to check out and everything in between, she really took care of our group and we truely appreciated it, especially as we had a disabled person with special requirements. All the staff at this hotel work tirelessly to take care of their guests and it made our stay feel like home away from home. Thank you Occidential Costa Cancun. You exceeded all our expectations.

Lovely all inclusive for a great price
This is a compact property built around a lovely pool, and a beautiful.Spanish architectural design. Large well equipped rooms, stocked minibar, refilled daily. Many rooms have balconies with partial sea views. The food is excellent Located next to a ferry to Isla Mujeres for an easy day trip. Nice small beach with lots of seating, small swimming area that staff work hard to keep clear of seaweed. Great beach bar. Great a la cartes. One complaint, lobby bar closes at 11pm and bar staff start closing up at 10:30 pm. Should be upen until 12 or 12:30am

A vacation to remember!
Occidental costa cancun is a great hotel at a great value. There was 8 people in my party from teens to 70s old o age and we all had a great time. The facility is well kept and the service is top notch. The people that works at the hotel made our stay memorable. No issues at all. The people worked extra hard when the hotel was at almost full capacity. I will definitely stay at costa cancun occidental again. Already planning my next vacation 😀 here.
