While I went to this hotel with measured expectations after reading reviews, I’m still disappointed. After only 1 night I’m hoping to find alternative accommodation. There is a very unpleasant smell in all elevators. The food in the buffet restaurant at dinner was well below average. I recommend booking the à la carte restaurants as soon as you check in. We stayed on the 8th floor yet the noise from the nightly entertainment is so loud. There is construction works which were not clearly communicated at booking.

Had a really good time at Melia Puerto Vallarta, huge thanks to the staff of this place. Everyone was welcoming and very respectful. Special thanks to Francisco and Armando, I really loved Francisco, he was very attentive and respectful. He made us feel like family, he is a big part of my highlights on this trip! Mucho gracias compa Francisco!

Great 2 weeks per year to spend
The beach and the resort are beautiful, clean, friendly and helpful staff, especially the front desk in charge with the restaurant reservations. My favourite activity coordinators were Alexandra and Cassandra! This my second time staying at this resort and hopefully not the last!

Amazing views and dining. People were very friendly and attentive.
This was my first time to puerto Vallarta and we stayed at the Meliá Resort. The hostess Georgina was pleasant and attended to all our needs. She set us up the first day with dinner reservation and a massage for myself. The dinner was very nice and the attendants brought dishes we did not order but they were free and they were so delicious. We also got drinks from the area that were pretty unique in n flavors, non alcoholic and refreshing. I already want to come back we wanted for nothing except more time at the area.
