  Great location, housekeeping ehh needs to learn how to clean, front desk helpful and friendly

  Hotel is clean and front desk staff helpful and friendly. BEWARE of shower in bathtub as DaNGEROUS And slippery. It is a high wall bathtub require you climb into over large ledge to get in. Water on one end shampoo on other. Housekeeping needs guidance reeducation… I left used dishes cutlery and ice bucket in sink for them to remove…. They merely put in the closet!!!!!! Also empty ice bags were not taken away.

  RoomsRoom service is poor for a five-star hotel; They don't ensure shampoo, body wash, and hand soap are refilled daily, and you have to ask room service when needed. SafetyUpon returning to my room after a long day, I found the door open and a cut throat razor knife on the table. When I contacted security, they suggested it might have been a cleaning staff member. When I asked why she was carrying such sharp objects, they explained that it was a contracted cleaning company, as the hotel doesn't have its own cleaning staff. When I requested to speak with the hotel manager, the receptionist informed me that the manager is only available in the mornings and that no one else is available to speak with him. Unfortunately, we don't feel safe at the hotel. This made me feel unsafe and very concerned about the security of the room. Esto me hizo sentir inseguro y muy preocupado por la seguridad de la habitación. Quiero una explicación inmediata, un cambio de habitación y confirmación de que la habitación es segura y que ninguna persona no autorizada ha entrado en ella. También solicito que este incidente quede documentado oficialmente por la dirección del hotel. I wish to add on to my review earlier, after being told that I can only meet up with the manager in the morning which ended up being reception manager, they proved nothing but to never book with this hotel in the future. They even kept the same housekeeping lady to clean the rooms even though when they ran everything thru the card reader it was clearly housekeeping!!!!!! They did absolutely nothing 0 hospitality and 0 actions taken they only hear from you and tell you to do whatever actions you want but from their side the maximum they can do is change the room, if the hotel manager wants to keep the reputability of this place the least they can do is let the hotel manager reach out to me and have an explanation for everything and show me clear actions to be taken because the management here doesn’t know how to take any actions in such situations!!!

  Luxury stay in an amazing hotel!

  Meliá Madrid Princesa is an excellent city hotel that delivers a high standard of comfort and service. We stayed in a junior suite with The Level access and it is something I would strongly recommend. The added benefits and attention to detail that come with this upgrade really enhance the overall experience and make the stay feel that much more special. Having travelled extensively, this stands out as one of the best city hotels I have stayed in. The staff were exceptional throughout, always going above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. Their warmth and professionalism made a real difference. The hotel itself is very well maintained, with a clean and welcoming feel throughout. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and finished to a high standard. The turndown service was a particularly nice touch and added a sense of luxury at the end of each day. We opted for half board and dined in the restaurant each evening. The food was consistently enjoyable and the staff were attentive and friendly, creating a relaxed and pleasant dining experience. We also made use of the pool and hot tubs, which were very good. There is perhaps some room for improvement in the gym, and adding a sauna or steam room would further enhance the wellness offering. We also found that the spa area could be quite lively in the evenings, with children present, which made it slightly less peaceful when looking to fully unwind. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel that offers a high level of quality across the board. It is a place I would happily return to, and when the time comes to visit Madrid again, it will certainly be at the top of the list.

  Great choice in Madrid for 2-3 nights

  Overall, this hotel fits the bill - clean and comfortable in an outstanding, walkable location. What I really loved, which is hard to find in Europe, is a hotel that accommodates 3 people to a room. The gym was basic but we really enjoyed the free weights and the yoga mats. Interesting that it is a 5 star hotel - I would never even compare it to the likes of the Maria Christina, etc. Perfect for a 2-3 night stay. Don’t miss the park (Parque del Oeste) 5 mins walking.

  So-so...not terrible, but hardly a noteworthy hotel

  The rooms are compact...but to be fair not tiny. The toilets have that oooooh-so trendy feature of NON-soundproof sliding doors. So if you want to be sitting on the toilet in the middle of the night and have full sound effects audible to anyone else in the room....this is your place. Three stars is about right...decent...but no more.
