  • SALTED RIM – MARGARITA BAR & LOUNGE
    Tequila, Margarita and “Salted Rims”….that’s what it’s all about. Salted Rim is a celebration of the agave plant in Mexico, which after distillation transforms itself into not only the most known Mexican beverage, tequila, but also the lesser-known Bacanora and increasingly popular Mezcal. They are all unique in their production and history.
    Located in the main lobby overlooking the property, guests can revel in Caribbean elegance with the finest lounge service, authentic and extensive selection of tequilas, mezcals and bacanoras, to create their favorite Margarita, blended, frozen, shaken, as well as other more adventurous creations. A menu is available, although our mixologists are ready to display their innovative bartending skills and prepare new and exciting concoctions.

    Loved the resort. Great experience.

    Gibran was the best at salted rim. Edgardo PB was the best overall. The guy is the most courteous and thoughtful person. Love him. Even friend now on Facebook.

    Amazing girls trip with top of the line service

    Karen, Isaac and Armando from the Butler Team very quickly became our friends and made our stay incredibly easy and we all had the best time. From the moment we arrived at Maragritaville they set us up with dinner reservations, spa treatments, pool chairs and the daily schedule. They thought of things we didn’t even know we needed and made our stay truly relaxing and took such good care of us! We were so appreciative for the attentive service. Thank you all for making our girls trip ones will remember forever! 😘Meghan

    Absolutely loved our time here!

    Went for a girls trip and had the most amazing time! The building and grounds are so beautiful and well kept and so clean! They pay great homage to Jimmy Buffett from the decor to the music! The room was cozy and comfortable and beautifully decorated. Loved spending time on the balcony just watching the ocean roll in. From our check-in to departure, they took care of us! All of the staff are friendly and polite and made sure we had everything we needed for a carefree stay. The all inclusive food and beverages were spot on and so delicious. They know how to throw a party and provide opportunities for activities throughout the day. There was plenty of space in the 3 pools with waitstaff and swim up bars. The License to Chill Grill had delicious and fresh choices for lunch, the buffets are delicious and beautifully laid out. The JBW Steakhouse and Frank and Lola’s were also very good (JBW’s scored at the top…it was a top notch dining experience!). Tips: -make sure you are there on a Saturday for the foam party (the DJ’s are the best!) -there isn’t much of a beachfront (enough to walk on but not really enough to spend the day laying on) and no bar service there -the sunrises were spectacular however not great viewing for sunsets -highly recommend for anyone looking for a whole lot of relaxing mixed with as much party as you want!

    An Awesome Resort to Chill Out

    There was 4 of us, ages 61 to 65 that stayed at the Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya Karisma-Adults Only. We were here from Monday 4/13 through Saturday 4/18/26. It was a 25-minute ride from Cancun airport. We were pleasantly greeted by Roberto, who took our bags and stored them till our room was ready, and then took us to our rooms. Check In was easy, they put a bracelet on you, that is your room key, that worked perfect. The Concierge, FeBe, took us for a tour of the resort and she took care of all our restaurant Reservations, and did an awesome job. The resort is very clean, and all the staff is friendly and pleasant The rooms are spacious and laid out well, the beds and pillows slept great. There is NO Beach at this resort, but we knew that already from the reviews, and that did not bother us at all There is plenty of loungers and umbrellas around the many pools, and you have the view of the ocean. There is plenty of restrooms all around the resort and pools The elevators are fast and never a line or having to wait for them. The food was the best we have ever had at any resort; we ate at the buffet for breakfast and for lunch we would eat at Landshark Brewery and the License to Chill. Both places had excellent food and variety. For Dinner we ate at the Buffet one night, the JBW Steakhouse twice, and at Frank and Lola Italian Restaurant twice. - All of the staff was Awesome and the ones that were very good at what they do are: Bellman Roberto, Breakfast and lunch server Gabino, Lunch & drink server Erik, Pool drink server Edgardo, Salted Rim Mixologist Raphael, Italian Restaurant server Jorge, Steakhouse server Angel, and FeBe the Concierge. Thanks to Margaritaville for the Fantastic week of food and a Great Time, my wife is a travel agent and will Definitely be suggesting this Resort to future Clients asking for an Awesome place to stay.

    Relaxing Environment

    Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean rooms and efficient services. Great food options. Short distance from the airport. It was a calm and relaxing vacation. Our Butlers, Armando and Karen, were fantastic! We will return again soon!
