  Exposed Wires

  Stayed at this hotel and was surprised at how they showed little concern for the safety of the guests. On Night 1 there was a flimsy platic sign which fell in the bathroom. When I investigated it had been covering what appears to be an electrical junction box with bare wires exposed. It had just been glued over it. I took a picture and went down to the front desk and showed it to the assistant manager . She said that they would send up a technician. 4 days later it was still like that when we checked out. I just expected more when it comes to the safety of not just the guests but the staff too

  Avoid this hotel. There’s a reason it’s the cheapest Marriott in the Paris central area.

  We stayed here only 2 nights. It was terrible from beginning to end. Checkin was an absolute cluster. Tons of airline crew in the lobby. 4 desks open, groups of people with no organization or anything resembling lines. Angry guests everywhere. When I asked if elite desk line would be separate she said no, they are just taking people as they go… but then other people just went right past me insisting they were elite (we have titanium status). Just frustration for everyone. Lounge is closed due to renovation. 20 euro daily credit offered, but not on your checkout day. We used it once at the cafe- to buy stale pastries. Don’t bother. Our toilet broke the first night. Took 1 hour for the technician to arrive. Also, they have no iron. They have a steamer but no place to hang your clothes that is close enough to an outlet to use it right. I had to do some creative holding of the hanger, which caused the steam to burn my hands multiple times. We took multiple showers on the first day (90+ degree weather), so we wanted our towels replaced. Left them on the floor. Housecleaning just took the same dirty towels and hung them back up. Lotion bottle was empty, never refilled. But the worse? We found a dirty fork on the floor behind the curtain (we never used a fork- so leftover from god knows when). Gross. We also left a key on the power switch to keep the AC on. Housekeeping removed it (fine) but instead of leaving our key on the room, they took it with them. Breakfast the last morning- I was told my breakfast was not included. I said no- it should be? We have status that includes breakfast. After 5 minute of back and forth she called someone. Again? They told me breakfast was not included- that was what the 20 euro credit was for. I said no- I was told at checkin that I chose breakfast and the credit wa online of lounge. Finally someone realized it was their error and fixed it. This was 6:30 am, when breakfast opened? Because we had to leave at 7 am for an early flight. What a waste of breath, because even though breakfast starts at 6:30 am, there was no hot food available until 7 am. Location- 15 min walk from the C, 2 minute walk to the other subway. Pretty much 30 min+ to get most places. 2 stars only because they managed to give us an early checkin at 1 pm, but in a worse room.

  Disappointing

  Very simply, it is not a 4 star hotel. I expected better. The photo I submitted is the window of our tiny room. It was frosted over so you couldn’t see outside.,

  READ THE REVIEWS - 2 star shoe box hotel rooms - not worth the money

  This hotel is not intended for anyone staying more than 2-3 days. The standard room sizes are extremely small, and there's not enough room to fit 3 large suitcases and still move around the bed(s). The bathroom is horrible and poorly designed. The water shoots out everywhere which floods the floor. I was told that the room I was given was a renovated room (likely renovated in the early 2000s, which is no longer renovated). Read the reviews prior to booking. At least you can make an informed decision and not be disappointed.

  Book elsewhere

  Marriott Bonvoy members save yourself and book with another brand. When we checked in even though we provided the Bonvoy number they said it wasn’t valid. Only when we logged into the account and showed them our number was it accepted. My husband is lifetime Platinum Elite and getting towels and a blow dryer….forget about a cleaning service has been impossible. Our room was missing a blow dryer…..took an hour and a half to get one. My hair was already dry. Went out from 9 am until 4 pm. Room not cleaned. Called down and asked for towels since mine were on the floor all day. I was told they were extremely busy and it would take awhile. An hour and thirty minutes later still no towels. Their lounge is “ closed” because it’s being renovated according to the front desk. Marriott should be ashamed of the service here. Worst I have ever experienced.
