I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough that others need to be aware before booking. This hotel is advertised as a 5-star resort, but in reality, it falls far below that standard. The room was in a shocking state. There were paint splatters on the door panels and even on the floor tiles, which is completely unacceptable at any decent hotel, let alone one claiming to be luxury. The curtains and pelmet were visibly worn and tired, making the whole room feel neglected and poorly maintained. The biggest issue, however, was the so-called “private” beach. It was anything but private. There were locals freely walking around, openly selling drugs and smoking weed. This created a very uncomfortable and unsafe environment. What made it worse was that security staff were present and did absolutely nothing to address the situation. It was clear that guest safety and security are not taken seriously here. We raised these concerns with guest services and spoke to Tasania Gary, who apologised and assured us that her manager had approved compensation for our experience. However, after multiple follow-up emails, we have received no response at all. Being ignored after being promised compensation is both unprofessional and dishonest. Overall, this hotel is poorly maintained, badly managed, and nowhere near the 5-star experience it claims to offer. Between the condition of the rooms, the lack of security on the beach, and the complete failure to follow through on promises, this was an extremely disappointing and frustrating stay. I would strongly advise others to avoid this resort and look

Kemesha,Marcus, and Aldin offered excellent service, so too was Carone and Warren at the little River. Overhaul, the staff was superb.

Scenes at the resort were beautiful but the hotel portion itself lacked craftsmanship. The rooms and the bathrooms were pretty and spacious but fine details were very low class. Very bad work on caulking all throughout hotel. Some areas between walls and floors were rusted or puffed and needed renovation. You can tell greater attention was given to main public areas but lacked in hallways, rooms and bathrooms. We were told there is 1 nurse on premises. I’m not sure if she was around but when our family needed medical attention, it was up to the medical providers in our family to tend to matters. Of course, that’s expected but although the nurse was contacted, we never saw one. I suggest bringing zip lock bags for small emergencies. The resort had plenty of ice but no luck finding a bag to put it in. The Samurai restaurant was not the greatest experience we were excited for. The main reason is that there was NO FLAME used in food preparation and heavy sauce used on everything. Ice cream shop was great. The buffet staff gave exceptional service. All restaurants had exceptional service. Buffet was very good. Italian restaurant was very good. The burgers on the beach grill… horrible quality. I was not sure if it was real meat. Overall, the resort is a great place but because of the aforementioned, I can’t rate it a 5 out of 5.

Oh wow so much fun and more fun this place is just amazing Nice pool and beach 🏖️ food so good especially the jerk hut My room was just ok however I had a blast our concierge Daniel was very informative and professional Dj Soda pop was amazing … we are definitely coming back to this resort
