We had an absolutely wonderful holiday at this hotel, we could not fault one thing. The staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. A special shout out goes to Manuel in the restaurant. The hotel and grounds are immaculate. Plenty of storage in the room. We had a side view room which actually had a brilliant view of the sea, I was expecting to just see a little bit. The pool looking out over the beach is amazing. It’s a 2 second walk from the pool to the beach. Nerja center is an easy 10/15 minute walk away. We will definitely return.

Fabulous 1st visit to Nerja
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left..we really enjoyed our stay..staff very friendly and welcoming..hotel is spotless clean..we had room 721..lovely balcony and sea view..food was good..pool area and beach was clean..only niggle was the towels in the bathroom were too small and thin..spanish restsurant was nice but choice on main courses was limited..older clientele in this hotel..people were very respectful...slept very well..great spot to explore nerja from..pity about TUI rep..not impressed..

Just Lovely
We were fortunate enough to spend a relaxing three weeks in May at the Riu Monica. We enjoyed every aspect of our holiday and would like to say a sincere "thank you" to every member of staff. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Happy chappies.
10th May until 21st May 11 nights. Really pleased with our room allocation on the sixth floor. Hotel cleanliness, staff and service second to none. Entertainment improved on most nights especially Hector Baron and the Hit bros. Drinks prices very reasonable especially for a hotel.Location of hotel 12 min leisurely walk to resort centre.Adult only although always busy around the pool area. Hope to return in the future. Roger & Sandra.
