Pleasant stay for 4 nights. From our arrival to departure all the staff that we encounter was very nice and friendly. We love the service. The housekeeper assigned to us was so amazing, thank you Aileen. We did get an upgrade to the rainbow tower as diamond member. That was just a plus as I did not expect too much especially the hotels here in the US compare to Asia. They even help us with my baby's bottle as I need to sterilized it and they did go above and beyond helping us. Over all, If I compare it to other hotels/resort I had stayed here in the US this was by far good when it comes to customer service.

Arrived at the Hilton Hawaiian Village for a family holiday at the start of April, and from the first impression the location appeared clean, tidy & lovely. This soon changed from the first staff contact. There was no wait at check in, with no one in any of lines in front, however that did not stop the staff member being so rude, unfriendly that i had to step away & let my partner finish checking us in. On the many holidays we have been on, this is the worse greeting I have ever had. On arriving at the room on 19th floor of Kalita Tower, the hotel instantly appeared date and worn. In need of a freshen up and TLC. The view over the resort was lovely, but that’s where the praise can end. The food around the resort was over priced for the quality and quantity. There was no chance of getting a Sun lounger at any pool unless you were waiting for ages before the pools opened or up at crack of dawn as people were down there saving them. If they were all gone the hotel then expected you to rent one to use around the adjoining lagoon, something that I think should have been a perk of being hotel guest. The fireworks show was a nice touch, but the rest was aimed at milking every penny they could out of visiting guests.

Why would a vacation resort close the hot tubs and most of the pools by 6 PM. After a day of siteseeing or traveling I like to relax in a hot tub before going to sleep. Never stay here again.
