Jun 03, 2026Fausto and Yenni. Amazing. Friendly. Exceptional. They made our trip amazing. More than amazing.
The trip we had at Hard Rock in Cancun was amazing. It was my first time there and it was the vacation I needed. Everyone was so nice! And the food was amazing! I definitely gained extra pounds and I’m not mad about it! There were 2 people above all that made our trip perfect. Fausto and Yenni. Fausto always greeted us with a smile every morning and always delivered a friendly and professional attitude. Yenni was amazing with how she would take our orders and delivered our drinks. As well, she was also super friendly and professional for us! Me and my partner were a bit scared of feeling judged for being gay at this resort but the complete opposite occurred. We felt like family when we came to the pool up on the 3rd floor. It was perfectly relaxing and with such friendly staff it was a home away from home. We are so grateful we got to meet them.

Wonderful Vacation
HardRock Cancun is our favorite resort mainly because of the wonderful staff who take care of us year after year. Special shout out to the following: Pool Guys - Mariano, Angel, Tacho, Willy, Tony, Edwin, Fausto and Enrique Pool/Beach Servers - Jesus, Charlie (Carlos), Jessica, Jaramillo, Angel Breakfast - Hector and PeeWee Smash Bar - Mixtega and Alejandro Housekeeping - Esli Entertainment - Ailyn, Dixie, Christopher, Antonio (I Love Tony), Gama Butler - Roberto (Rorro) Our room was great, air conditioning nice and cold. Food was good, entertainment was fantastic but again, it is the staff who make the visit worthwhile. I know I left out many wonderful people, but the ones I listed are nothing short of fantastic. We have become family with them as we visit each year.

It seems that most complaints on here are from the people who are members. I travel for a living and worked for Hard Rock Cafe for years. This hotel is not 5 star , but it's not a dump. You will have a good time here. The food is average but it's all inclusive. I have stayed at 16 all inclusive resorts in Mexico and food is not a bright spot for any of them them. You need to know that going before booking an all inclusive. The rooms were clean, the staff is "Mexican attentive". This is everywhere in Mexico, all hotels. Mexican attentive is when your happy and ripping, they love you. But if you have a complaint they all of a sudden don't speak English, or they get someone right away to assist you. That someone ain't never coming. Pool chairs are a minimum so if that upsets you, you're really going to be mad. However as the days in Mexico go, the people who went out at 7 leave at 11 because it's hot. So if you don't right, sleep in, go breakfast, and then around 11 go out to the pool and you will find loungers. It's very kid centric and not the toddler's. We had 2 17 year old girls there that absolutely loved this place. They had something to do every night and 2 days in they had a crew of about 15 kids there age from all over the world that they hung out with at night. The lobby area is the only part area so after 3 days it's old but the bartenders are great and if your tipping per drink you get monster pours and a smile. We did go to Harry's across the street. It's walkable, amazing and the tables are right on the lagoon. It was a nice break from the hotel food which basically all banquet food. Reservations were easy, but the big ones like the steak house were disappointing. You don't pay extra but even if your idea of Outback is a good steak you will not be happy. Look over all, everybody wants to be like a ritz Carleton. They will never be that food unless you go to Sandals. But if your shopping the hard rock hotel Sandals is way out of this budget. And for those of you complaining and then getting AI generated letter from the property staring that they will follow up... Well that's the biggest joke the Mexicans play on tourists. They know you are never coming back why would they try to solve your problem after you left... Mexican attentive. But that the end of the day if your not crazy high maintenance, this place will do. Just go and relax. Have some cocktails, enjoy the beauty of Mexico, but honestly you should stop staying at all inclusive. Go out and see Mexico. Meet the amazing people and do the actual tours available that don't fall under booze cruises, jet skis, or para sailing. You will 100% get ripped off
