Named to commemorate the wreck of the Sea Venture and the establishment of a colony in Bermuda, our new dramatic harbourside dining experience, 1609 Bar & Restaurant, offers uninterrupted harbour views and open air dining.
The menu features a variety of items from ceviche and pizza to burgers, sandwiches, and salads as well as a variety of seasonally inspired entrées. A carefully crafted cocktail menu offers Bermuda classics such as the Rum Swizzle and Dark & Stormy, as well as island-inspired libations including the Passion Fruit Mojito, 1609 Frozen Rum Punch, and White Peach and Tropical Red pitchers of Sangria.
Reservations are highly recommended.
- Crown & Anchor
Open daily, this restaurant offers casual all-day dining and late-night bar and grill with lively entertainment, and an exceptional rum selection. Crown & Anchor Bar, Restaurant, and Terrace is Bermuda’s newest “must visit venue” offering everything from a reserved afternoon tea to relaxing after work drinks. At the bar a fine selection of cognac, wine, and champagne by the glass await. Give in to the island favorite Bermuda Rum Swizzle, a delicious mix of local Gosling's Black Seal Rum, and tropical juices or our or the signature C&A Cocktail, which can be enjoyed on the new outdoor seating area, set in the beautifully landscaped gardens, overlooking the new Marina. - Marcus’ by Marcus Samuelsson
Like the hotel around it, Marcus’ is a visually striking affair, arrayed with modern art from the hotel’s owners, including original pieces by Andy Warhol, Liu Ye and Nelson Mandela amongst others. The signature restaurant occupies the former Gazebo Room, once a grand ballroom, offering a central bar and views of the ocean. An open kitchen with a wood burning grill located opposite is a show all in its own, with chefs creating Samuelsson’s specialty dishes.
A preview of menu items includes Oysters with Black Rum Mignonette, Salmon on the Grill, Jerk Pork Belly, and a tantalizing Whole Fried Chicken for Two. Additional dishes pay tribute to Bermudian culture, such as Grilled Bermuda Onion and Fish Chowder Bites among others. The restaurant features a full beverage menu with signature and classic cocktails, a well-rounded selection of wine and beer, and a new spin on a local favorite, ginger beer-based Darker and Stormier.

This is our fifth time staying at the Hamilton Princess. We go there when vacationing in Bermuda for a good reason - it provides top notch and impeccable service. From the rooms to the to the restaurants to the pools, everything is of the highest quality. Its location is a plus - in the town of Hamilton where you can find other restaurants, historic sites, and easy access to the ferry to take you anywhere else in Bermuda. A bus will take you to their extremely beautiful beach several times each day where wonderful service awaits you.So stay at the Princess - you won’t regret it.

Great Work
I had the pleasure of being served by Olga at 1609 Restaurant, and the experience truly stood out. From the moment we were seated, Olga was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She struck the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness, making us feel comfortable without ever being intrusive. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive—she gave thoughtful recommendations and was happy to answer questions, which made choosing our meals much easier. Throughout the dining experience, she checked in at just the right moments and ensured everything was exactly as it should be. What really made the difference was her attention to detail and her positive attitude. It’s clear that she takes pride in her work and cares about the guest experience. Thanks to Olga, our visit felt special and memorable. I would absolutely return and hope to be served by her again.

Fabulous Service
We had a lovely trip back to the Hamilton princess! Service was fabulous! We especially appreciated the staff in the Gold lounge! They all made us feel special like we have been friends forever! George, Peter, Rolly, Alysha, we love them all! It is service like that that will keep us coming back!

Fantastic place to stay in Bermuda
The Hamilton Princess is a fantastic hotel that my wife and I visited for the first time this year. The experience was top notch from check in through Check out, the entire staff is amazing, but specifically the staff at the Gold lounge made us feel like valued old friends, Peter, George, Rolly and Pascoal are absolute legends in our minds and hearts. Helpful, funny, friendly and welcoming every day and every evening giving us tips on places to see, places to eat and to shop... welcoming us back like old friends each time we arrived back at the hotel.

Wonderful restaurant, spectacular views, warm, caring staff
What a wonderful restaurant! Highly recommend the fish entrees - very fresh and perfectly seasoned. The staff are so warm, welcoming and nice - its like coming home. My waitress Olena was wonderful and treated me like I was her only customer. Can't wait to come again.
