Apr 19, 2026Chaotic Resort
I was really excited for this trip to Punta Mita, but this hotel ended up being a huge disappointment and definitely not a 5-star experience. When we arrived, I asked about upgrading the room and they confirmed an upgrade was available and charged us extra. The process took nearly an hour. After that, we were sent to a separate line just to activate wristbands, which took another 30 minutes. Once that was finally done, we were told we had to wait again for staff to bring our luggage to the room. Not wanting to waste more time, we opted to carry our own luggage up the stairs. When we finally got to the room, it wasn’t the one we paid to upgrade to and to make matters worse, there was extremely loud construction happening right next door. We had to go all the way back to the front desk to complain and get the correct room. The issues didn’t stop there. The phone in our room would ring multiple times in the middle of the night, to the point where I had to unplug it just to get any sleep. On top of that, the fire alarms went off multiple nights in a row overnight, which was incredibly disruptive. There are also no “Do Not Disturb” signs for the doors, so staff repeatedly entered the room even while we were inside. Additionally, every time you leave the resort, you’re required to give both security and your taxi driver your room number. As a young woman, nothing feels more unsafe than having to share your room number with multiple strangers. To top it off, the checkout process was a complete mess. The lobby was packed with what felt like 150 people, and the lines to check out were extremely long and disorganized. Overall, the experience was incredibly frustrating, chaotic, and far below what you would expect from a supposed 5-star property.

Five star experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was our third visit to Palladium Riviera Nayarit, and it was our best one so far! From the moment we arrived, the TCP staff made us feel welcomed and truly cared for. A special thank you to Ana and her team at the Travel Club — Abraham, Antonio, Laura, and Itzel — who took outstanding care of us throughout our stay. Abraham especially made us feel like family, and his attention and kindness did not go unnoticed. The entire resort staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The facilities are always clean, modern, and well maintained, which makes every visit comfortable and relaxing. There is a great variety of restaurants to choose from, and the bars were never crowded, making it easy to enjoy the experience without long waits. The oceanfront view was absolutely spectacular, and it made our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend Palladium Riviera Nayarit to anyone traveling to the Puerto Vallarta area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars — we can’t wait to return!

We love the ocean and this stay filled that to the brim. Surf boards, boogie boards, snorkeling right from shore was all amazing. Maybe a closer bathroom by the beach would be nice since it was a bit of a walk to get up to the top bathrooms. The beach was fantastic!

It was a wonderful experience to me and my husband
We had a very good time, nice views, beautiful garden, trees and plants, wonderful workers, good foods and many more. We could recommend our friends and families to come and stay in here.
