  Butler Henry made our trip unforgettable!

  We had an incredible stay at Dreams Onyx, but the true highlight of our trip was our amazing butler, Henry. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless, stress-free, and honestly better than we could have planned ourselves. Henry anticipated our needs before we even had to ask—whether it was helping with reservations, checking in on us throughout the day, or adding thoughtful little touches that made our stay feel extra special. He was always kind, professional, and genuinely cared that we were having the best experience possible. What really stood out was how personal he made everything feel. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it shows in every interaction. If you’re staying at Dreams Onyx, I highly recommend requesting Henry—you will not be disappointed. He truly made our trip unforgettable!

  Honest UK review

  Me and my husband stayed for 9 nights travelled from the UK. I have travelled round the world but would say this is one of the best all inclusives if you are preferred and pay the extra. Rooms: very big, clean, hot tub on balcony beautiful views. Food: plentiful and many options. I am a fussy eater but was able to always find something which I often struggle with. Service at the preferred restaurant is slow but this isnt why we went preferred Pools: the reaaon we went preferred. Usually theres not much difference between preferred and non preferred but the preferred pool is amazing. The service is excellent. Lots of Americans who are loud but thats expected however more so over weekends. You are never forced to tip either as service is just as good. If you dont have children go preferred so that you can use the adults only preferred pool its amazing. The main pool is full of children hence why we went preferred and was worth it purely for that. Beach: Blue clear and sandy. Had some sea weed but not bad at all in comparison to some resorts. They stay on top of it. The beach is honestly beautiful. Butler: Ryan was our butler and he was fab! Could not fault what he provided and was very efficient and good at his job. 45 mins from airport. Book private transfer as easier and doesnt cost much. Would recommend this hotel so much. Also ignore all weather apps it predicted rain and thunder. Rained once in the evening thats it. This tends to be the case anywhere tropical so no need to stress just book it.

  Overall an amazing resort!!!

  My stay at Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa was honestly one of the best resort experiences I’ve had. The overall atmosphere of the resort is incredible — everything feels lively, well-designed, and truly gives you that luxury vacation vibe from the moment you walk in. The beach is absolutely stunning, easily one of the highlights of the trip. Clean, spacious, and perfect whether you want to relax or just take in the views. One thing that really stood out was the value. For what you get, it feels completely worth it. Service overall was solid, and what made a huge difference for us was Santo, the food concierge. He went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. He arranged halal food for us every day, coordinated with all the restaurants, and made sure there was no cross-contamination. We were given multiple options daily for both lunch and dinner, which made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. Special thanks to Santo for making such a big difference in our stay. Now, to be real — the buffet was decent, nothing bad but nothing special either. I know a lot of people complain about resort buffets in general, and this one was just okay. But the à la carte restaurants completely made up for it. The restaurant food was genuinely excellent and easily one of the highlights of the trip. The resort itself is extremely clean, from the common areas to the overall grounds. Rooms were also kept clean and well-maintained throughout the stay. Staff across the resort were friendly and welcoming, which adds a lot to the overall experience. Entertainment was good and kept things fun throughout the stay, though not the main highlight compared to everything else the resort offers. Overall, this is a resort I would absolutely come back to and recommend — especially if you care about great food, a beautiful beach, and a well-rounded, high-value vacation experience.

  A nice resort

  Overall the resort was nice. However the room I reserved was not the room I was given. The food was very forgettable, not nasty but not memorable. The location was about 40mins away from the airport and next to breathless and Nickelodeon resort. It appears the cleaning staff does not speak English.

  AMAZING Staff, Beautiful Beach and Pristine Resort with Exceptional Concierge “Albert”

  Beautiful Beach. Very Clean Resort. Spacious Rooms and Very attentive Concierge- Albert always checked in with us in the morning- mid afternoon and at supper time - checking to see if we had an issues or required anything. He was a great source of information recommending to us what restaurants to visit. THANKS Albert
