Booked a Preferred Club Ocean View Room. We have a pool view and can just barely see the ocean if we lean over the left side of the balcony. I am pregnant and was really excited to have an ocean view room for our vacation. We contacted them to see if we can switch into the ocean view room we paid for, and they told me their ocean view is the view that we have and we needed to book “Ocean Front” if we wanted to see the water from our balcony. We asked if we could pay for an upgrade and they told me they are fully booked. I’m not sure why they offer partial ocean view vs ocean view rooms if they are the same thing. Attaching photos of our view for reference.

Apr 20, 2026Just THE BEST VACAY!
Our stay at Dreams Macao was just that- a dream! I went to teach yoga every morning and brought along my husband and two daughters and we all had THE BEST time! The food was delicious. Our favourite restaurant was the Hibachi restaurant. We got sushi, dumplings, pad tai and beef and broccoli. The buffet was also top notch. The omelette station was never a let down and my kids loved the kid food section. The food truck bonus in the waterpark was unlike anywhere else we’ve been and the tacos they served were so tasty. Victor was the main employee helping me with my yoga program everyday. He and his staff, Maria and Baby face had the mats and towels ready for all of our yogis joining. The waterpark was the best we have been to at a resort and my kids met so many friends there that they will never forget!!! Night life wouldn’t be the same without the beautiful Princess Diana! She would always make sure we were involved and having the best time. The entertainment on stage every night was brilliant! We were never board! The beach party was our absolute fav! Jhony and Ashlyn made sure everyone was dancing and we LOVE to dance! We will be back to this resort! I loved teaching there, swimming there, eating and drinking there. Truly every moment was so incredible.

We stayed for 7nights and we had an amazing time. My kids 10 and 8 were never bored and they didn’t even use the explorer kids club. We paid for preferred but didn’t really see an advantage for it (butler was not very helpful) Food and drinks were great. The views were amazing and it was a very clean resort. Water was rough for the kids but they enjoyed the pools. We were worried about food quality but they had good food and nobody got sick.

Family friendly
Pros: the staff are amazing If you have children, this is for you. Rooms are kept very clean. Staff is incredible. Rooms are quiet. Cons: Pools did not appear clean Drinks are not consistent Prestige customers have lots more options for pools and service Be careful with the shower controls. You can get burned. Toilet seats are not accessible height if needed. Lighting is not the greatest at night. Prices are high in the mart.

Everything was spotless, the staff were amazing, and the food was delicious! I will return, no doubt about it. I highly recommend it!
