  Fantastic location and great service.

  Headline: Fantastic Location & Great Service – A Solid 4-Star Choice Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently stayed here on a B&B basis as part of the Preferred Club, which was a great choice for us. It granted us access to the exclusive adult pool area, and our room included a fridge topped up daily with water, soft drinks, two beers, and even crisps. The Highlights • Unbeatable Location: The hotel’s best feature is its position perfectly situated between the harbour and the marina. • Dining: Don't be intimidated by the Marina restaurants; we found them much more affordable than expected and the quality was excellent. • Breakfast: Very high standard with "proper" English bacon and a wide variety of other fresh items. • The Room: Very clean and adequate, featuring an endless supply of high-quality, fluffy towels. • The Staff: Every team member we met was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Areas for Improvement • Pool Area: The sunbeds are looking quite tired; many are worn out and they could use a deep clean or full replacement. • Club Perks: In the Privilege/Preferred area, the coffee machines weren't consistently topped up. It’s a minor point, but worth noting for a premium service. Final Verdict While the decor doesn't quite have the "luxury" feel of a 5-star hotel, it is a very good 4-star establishment. Between the location and the friendly service, I would definitely stay here again!

  Nice but let down by staff

  Hotel was lovely but some staff let it down. Not sure if it was because it's off season but where some staff were amazing as you'd expect in a 5 star resort others were not up to the same standard. Coffee spilled at breakfast and and even though they'd noticed felt it's ok not to clean it on the table, cutlery not always there. One waitress in the lobby bar dropped a glass which smashed next to my foot, she just walked away to get something to clean, didn't acknowledge it bouncing of my bare feet, then went on to clean around me but not saying anything. Other bar staff shouting saying they need to see your card when others don't ask, it's not consistent. They don't need to see it if we don't have all inclusive and said we are paying anyway. Might seem petty but it's a 5 star hotel, so would have expected more. Mirror in bathroom dusty. Apart from that pools very nice, felt clean. Shame entertainment is only 45 mins.

  Treated like Royalty

  Just returned from another fabulous stay at Dreams. This was our 5th or 6th visit and it is simply our favourite place for a break in the winter/spring months. We have stayed once at Princesa Yaiza but prefer Dreams! We only stay on a B&B basis with the upgraded Preferred Club option as we love to explore the fantastic range of restaurants locally. Preferred club gives access to additional pool areas (we always use the quiet adult only pool) as well as the preferred lounge area for snacks and drinks throughout the day. Fresh pool towels provided each day. The staff at this hotel are fantastic and gave us a wonderful welcome with a bottle of Cava and chocolates in our room. We were also treated to a bottle of Yaiza wine the day before our departure (which was totally unexpected, but very gratefully received). The breakfast buffet is extensive and caters for all tastes including those who like cava at breakfast! Special mention to Ali & Carlos @SugarReef bar for excellent cocktails and service with a smile! Also to Eric at reception area who gave us his duct tape to repair our suitcase which had been damaged at the airport. If you are thinking of visiting Playa Blanca, then I would highly recommend this hotel. We are looking forward to our next visit!

  Great Staff

  We did a sangria class with Zack and Aljissa they were lovely so friendly and we had a good laugh with our group aswell as them, they made it so relaxed, me and my friend throughly enjoyed talking and laughing with them they are super stars! really enjoyed the classes, we also loved the waiter Alexander he was so lovely and had fun with us he made us feel so comfortable these 3 staff really stood out to us❤️Thank you so much 💕

  Easter Break

  Our first visit to Dreams Playa Dorada and I was expecting wonderful things. Firstly the location is excellent in between Playa Blanca and the Rubicon Mariana both of which have many varied restaurants. Rooms are of a high standard and cleaned well daily. Mini bar and coffee machine in the rooms are a welcome extra. The pool area if you are not preferred is a standard area which could be made better. Some of the sun loungers could do with replacing and even washing down as there was a lot of residue on them. The pools themselves are not as clean as other properties we have stayed at on the Island. The towel hut guys need to be a little friendlier you are sometimes made to feel like you shouldn't be changing your towels even if they have been caught in a rain shower and are wet. The food is of a fairly good standard although repetitive. On our first night we only arrived at the hotel at 9pm and were told by reception to go down to the restaurant and have some food which was appreciated after travelling all day. Once we had sat down and ordered our drinks the restaurant manager (i assume) came over and told us to hurry up because they were closing soon. The restaurant is advertised as being open until 9.30pm but what they really mean is that they want you all out by this time and by 9pm they are starting to take the food away. (Not impressed) The bar staff were very accommodating and always friendly. Overall we had a good holiday but not as good as we had expected having read previous reviews. I think next time we will go back to our favorite hotel for the 10th time as we have yet to find anything to beat it.
