  Lovely relaxing holiday

  We stayed from the 4th to the 11th May and this was our 2nd visit to Dreams Hotel and once again we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and varied and the deserts amazing. All of the staff we engaged with were welcoming and helpful and made us feel so much at home. We booked a bungalow by the sea this time which we were delighted with and the room and cleanliness was first class. The only thing I didn’t care for was the large inflated floating play area which looking out of character compared with the rest of the hotel and partially spoilt the amazing view from our patio, however I can understand that they are catering for families and it probably is an added attraction for the children. All in all a wonderful stay and can highly recommend the hotel.

  Could Be A lot Better with simple improvements

  The hotel itself was nice, clean and tidy but it had just opened for the season 2 days prior so I would expect it be clean. Gardens were a mess and unkempt. Which is not something we’ve witnessed with other Dreams hotels around the world. Only saw one gardener the whole time we were there. Majority of the staff were lazy. Spent time on mobile phones especially poor waitresses. Aggelos at the barefoot grill was the only person conscientious enough to ask and take orders even though there were 4 staff on. Despina the pool bar waitress just walked in between beds so she didn’t have to ask for Any orders and would get one customer order At a time. Many customers were frustrated and got up to go to the bar in their own. The evening entertainment was poor. With a singer for 2 hours and then nothing. Most ended up playing cards and going to bed early. Drinks were not premium ones and you had to ask for these but even then they would switch to local spirits. Food was very basic with not a lot of choice. Small buffet restaurant with not a lot of choice per day. Food tend to be the same dishes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms were small but clean and a balcony which was over the Greek restaurant. Only one pool open because it had only just opened. Highlight of the holiday was seeing fireflies outside the hotel on a night which was magical, Overall wouldn’t come back needs more attention to detail

  'Dreams Corfu'......Unfortunately the hotel didn't always live up to its name !!

  Dreams Corfu has the potential to be an absolutely amazing holiday destination because it is: Set in a truly beautiful spot with fantastic views Plenty of space for families with young children Lots of sun loungers Hardworking staff who care (special thanks to Aggelina on Reception and Jenny in the main dining area) Good sized bedrooms However the hotel is not, in my opinion, worthy of a 5 star rating for the following reasons: Housekeeping - Rooms were cleaned daily but lacked care and finesse in the finishing touches such as putting decorative cushions and throws back on the beds each day. Not 5* service as we had expected. Main Dining Room - Cleaning was never completed for when breakfast began at 7.30am. Staff were still mopping floors and setting the tables - a real hazard, especially for children. Often we sat down to a table that lacked cutlery/napkins etc. The Buffet - Very average. During our 7 night stay many of the dishes were repeated at least once. No Theme Nights, No Fresh Pasta station, No Dedicated Vegetarian options, (only side dishes), Very limited Gluten Free options and not easy to locate. Not enough staff - this was very evident. We visited last week during the half-term holiday. Staff could not cope with clearing plates from tables/serving water & drinks in the main dining room. It felt like a school canteen experience, rather than a 5* dining experience and was quite unpleasant at times. Queues everywhere........poolside bars, coffee bar, cocktail bar and anywhere else you might want to visit within the hotel complex. Often only one staff member coping with the queues! We often waited between 5 and 15 minutes. As others have said making reservations in the al a carte restaurants was practically impossible, even if you were trying to do this literally just after midnight - so very very disappointing. On the whole our negative experiences outweighed the positive ones. It was a real shame as the hotel could be a fabulous one.

  Fantastic all inclusive family hotel

  We have just come back from a week long family break and had a fantastic time. The staff, hotel and food were all excellent. Location was perfect (20 minutes from Corfu Town and airport) with a pine clad backdrop. The food standard was excellent everyday, really impressed. The only negative was the hotel app didn’t work for the a la carte restaurants (we were told it was our fault as we didn’t book in time but in fact at the turn of midnight it was always fully booked). After speaking to others in the hotel they had the same problem. The only saving grace was that the food in the main buffet was exceptional anyway so it didn’t matter too much. Overall a wonderful hotel and would highly recommend.
