    Fab Hotel

    Main pool is lovely really nice temperature and not over crowded. Other pools small. All staff ever so friendly. Location perfect in the heart of The Gap but hotel rooms set back so you can't hear any of the nightlife. Massive bed and double sofa bed. Wesley the main taxi driver is the nicest guy ever. Bus stop right outside. Took just over an hour to walk to Miami Beach. Took 2.5 hours to walk to Mount Gay Visitors Centre. Both walks ensure you see lots of beaches. Little supermarket in town and bigger one out of town. Cash point in town but I'd recommend going Sagicor in Worthing as their fees are miniscule. 30 mins hotel room available for you after you have checked out to freshen up for the flight. The odd scheduled activity was on but generally speaking most scheduled activities didn't seen to happen. 700 USD holding deposit on card.

    A great place to stay

    Nice accommodation in a convenient location. Has all the facilities for self catering or add your meals if you prefer. Rooms are spacious and clean. Frequent local taxis available right outside the front gate which can take you to either Bridgetown or Oistins. The beach though has strong waves. You may want to travel slightly further up for a more calmer beach with gentle waves.

    beautiful Resort

    Very clean and tidy rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. I also left my dyson in the room and the staff who was scheduled for room service found it and got it to me. Close to airport and other amenities on the island.

    Good for one overnight stay

    The resort seems quite old but is well maintained with good facilities. We only stayed one night on a layover and did not want to spend much while but still having beach amenities. This is quite difficult in Barbados. We booked through Expedia which was cheaper and allowed a stay of only one night as many sites require a minimum stay of several days in high season. The cheapest option was a garden room which looked out over the front lawn and the road in the distance. It was more of an apartment than a room as it had a full kitchen (normal sized cooker with oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, blender) within the living area (large tv, sofa), breakfast bar type seating for 4, and a separate bedroom (another large tv). Although our stay was short, the staff were helpful. On our last day there was no late check out available but we were able to reserve use of a courtesy room to have a shower and change before going to the airport for an evening flight. They offer 30 minute slots and the service is free. We could also use all other facilities the day of checking out. Note that the reception, main pool and most of the room
