May 31, 2026Excellent stay - it's definitely worth it!
I can't say enough good things about this resort and their staff! The staff was friendly and professional, rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the food - A-mazing! I also went to the spa and had a massage from the lovely Yesenia. It was so good I went back a second time! The beach is stunning and the trade winds kept the temperature down. No mozzies either, which was a first for me in a tropical location and very much appreciated! Lots of activities for everyone. I'm not an all inclusive traveller as a rule but I needed a break with minimal organization by me and this one hit the jackpot. I will definitely go back here. Great value for money. Loved it :)

May 25, 2026Wonderful Relaxing Stay With Beautiful Beach & Snorkeling
Stayed in May 2026 and had a very relaxing vacation. Excellent staff throughout the resort, with plenty of lively entertainment during both the day and evening. The long beautiful beach was perfect for morning walks. The restaurants and buffet offered great food with lots of variety. Bonus for people who love snorkeling — you can snorkel from the shore, which was amazing. The only downside was the towels and bed sheets, which really need updating as they felt old and worn. Overall, we still had a wonderful stay.

Great hotel , great area - some issues - but overall worth the trip
Traveling from the US is difficult , you need to fly into Santo Domingo and then travel 3 hrs by car. It is worth it if you like outdoor activities - like hiking , waterfalls, national parks , boat excursions. I used Amstar online to book the airport pickup / return and it was seamless !!! they were amazing with keeping me updated on pick up and return. I also booked excursions online and at the hotel lobby (Samuel is the best!).. I would recommend the waterfall trip. i didn't do the horseback ride and chose to Hike it. The hotel: extremely busy - but nothing that interfered with any activities. You need to get out early to get a lounge on the beach or pool. Volleyball was great and the entertainment committee were friendly and energetic. Buffet was good - large variety to choose from. I ate at the French Restaurant, Greek and the Fish Market. All good. Entire Staff was amazing. always had smiles and greeted you like family. Cons - there is an adult pool that people brought their young children = staff didn't say a thing. there is a kids pool ( which looks amazing) and they are also welcome at the large pool by the beach. I travel to get away from kids , don't get me wrong - i love them but to have an adult only area was a nice perk to have. unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy that . Airconditioning in room went out three times, it came back on two of the three. Bathroom smelled very musty/ moldy and when the air conditioning was off - it was at its worst.

Enjoyed our stay
Spent a week here. All in all it was a lovely resort. Ocean was nice and calm. Pools were nice and clean. Food was good. Went to the Brazilian restaurant and enjoyed our meal there. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would return. No complaints at all.

Really nice
It was a great vacation with family. The beach is amazing and will come back again. The rooms need some update but overall great
