    Totally recommend to any leisure travelers!!

    LOVED this hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had, and it was included in our room. Very worth the price. I stayed with 3 other girls in a double queen room. The room was spacious, and we all had plenty of room to get ready at the same time. The location is very central to everything, about a 15-minute walk to everything, but the walk is so pretty it doesn't even feel like that long.

    Not great for a family room.

    Nice hotel in a very good location but very surprised that no smart TVS. We booked a family room and were looking forward to watching a movie at the end of a day of sighsighting seeing. Not possible! Disappointing given it’s a 5 star hotel and smart tvs are general pretty common at this stage!

    Comfortable + great location

    Excellent bed. Nice sized room. My room faced the back and all the rooms facing the back are very quiet. The hotel is just a few pieces from the bus stop to and from Schipol airport (no need to bother with the trains to Centraal nor Zuid, just take the bus.) I really enjoyed the location, which is a 10 minute walk to the van Gogh and Rijksmuseum and then an easy stroll into Jordaan and Centrum neighborhoods. Beautiful and spotless gym. Erdan at the Concierge desk was especially helpful and booked me at his favorite locals only restaurant, which I enjoyed very much. Stephan in the breakfast restaurant was very welcoming and provided lovely service. Check in and check out was handled by an excellent team of women and I appreciated receiving an upgrade with my Marriott status. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Amsterdam

    Short visit

    Great location to get out and about. Bar and cafe are great. Service was great. Had a room with a shower in bath. For aged it was an issue getting in and out.

    Great stay in Amsterdam

    We visited Amsterdam in April 2026. It was the kids’ first visit to the city. We had a great time. The Marriott in Amsterdam was a great choice. The rooms were spacious, and the location is perfect, right next to Vondelpark as well as a tram stop + couple of mini markets are within walking distance. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Specifically, Udo at the Concierge was super helpful and gave us great tips and recommendations for places to visit with the kids. He helped us book tickets to several spots, and to rent a car, which we used to visit Keukenhof and Zaanse Schans. These were the highlights of our visit (April is a great time to visit the Tulip farms). Frans was also very friendly. We enjoyed chatting with him, listening to his travel experiences, and sharing ours. One area of improvement would be the rooms. They could use an upgrade, as you could start to see the wear and tear. We will definitely be staying at the Marriott again in our next visit to the city.
