  Very good experience

  Very good location. Room clean and comfortable. Sleep excellent; cosy bed, aircon and very quiet. Staff very friendly. Breakfast good. Would stay again.

  Very Noisy Hotel

  Extremely noisy. The club across the street plays loud thundering music until all hours of the night every night. Even with ear plugs you can hear it. You can hear everything in the hallways. Very poorly built hotel. The staff were nice and breakfast was fine. Location was good. But I wouldn’t recommend it because you can’t sleep.

  Housekeeping needs a good reprimand.

  Terrible first impression. Actually terrible is a kind word to use for this kind of "So called 4 star hospitality". I must say it was awful. When we were checking in, I had put in a request for a higher floor earlier itself as a Marriott Bonvoy member, he said it wasnt available, coz the hotel was full. However, he said you can come in tomorrow and then I ll do something about it. We said it becomes difficult to change the rooms again and again, why don't you give us the better room now? When we first entered the room, our first view of the room, the bed was not made, the furniture was chipped, walls had holes in it, this is room number 308 that I am talking about. I tried to call the reception, it wasn't connecting, then there were 2 emergency numbers mentioned on it. Tried those two numbers, it said that this emergency number doesn't work on this line. So went down to the reception to complain about it. Then after my complaint, he gave us 306, probably 10% better than 308. Phone is working atleast. Bed is made better. Door was chipped though. As an avid traveller, even a 3 star hotel has slippers for their travellers. But this 4 star hotel didn't have slippers. I dialled the reception. She said we don't have slippers in the room, however if I want slippers, I can go down and collect it from her. I was flabbergasted to hear a 4 star hotel receptionist telling a customer to come down to collect the slippers, late in the night. I asked her to come up, she refused. What happened to Housekeeping, what happened to customer service? Now the washroom, markers on the shower knobs are missing. There is hair next to the tissue box. The removable shower tap is positioned in such a way that either the shower knobs can have a shower or you use the shower with your hands. Coz if you use the shower tap in a higher position, all the water is out in the bathroom. Total mess. Uffff. Come to the room, there is a dusty remote control for you, didn't touch it at all. Yuck. The lights are dim in the room, I think it's for a reason, so that no one can see the dust that is accumulated all over the room. Housekeeping needs a proper reprimand, I suppose. My partner booked this room based on the reviews which now I am beginning to doubt if these are genuine reviews or not. 8.8 on booking.com and 3.9 on TripAdvisor. How? This 4 star should be downgraded to a 3 star or a 2 star. Elevators were unclean and shabby. Lobby area is dull. Staff is blah, unresponsive, unbothered, like as if they are used to these sort of complaints. No willingness to improve customer service. Only good thing about the room is the size of the room and the towels. I hope the management of this hotel/ chain does something about it. Till then whoever has booked this hotel, please come to this hotel at your own risk. This is a genuine review by an extremely irritated customer and not some chatbot.

  i stayed at the AC hotel recently with my boyfriend,room was clean and a standard hotel room,bed was very big and comfy however it made an annoying knocking noise whenever we moved,great space with a spacious bathroom.the hotel is in a great location with many things around to do.had a few issues with the tv(kept turning off and could only watch certain channels) but we didn’t mind as was only in hotel for a little bit.overall a good stay and would come back again!

  Absolute Management Chaos – A Nightmare for Professionals

  I stayed at the AC Hotel Manchester City Centre for a critical medical training trip, and it was hands-down the worst experience I’ve ever had at a supposedly 4-star establishment. The issues began immediately with a malfunctioning air vent system. The room was a temperature nightmare; the air conditioner would blast cold air when the room was freezing and switch to heat when the room was already hot. Despite having a wall controller, it was completely unresponsive and felt like a decorative plastic box. I spent the first two days unable to sleep or focus on my training because the room climate was unbearable. Things went from bad to dangerously incompetent on the third day. After I requested a room change, the staff gave me a key to a new room. Because I had significant equipment and materials for my medical training, I couldn't move everything instantly, and the staff explicitly told me I could keep my belongings in the original room for the remainder of the day. When I returned from a long day of professional training, I found wine glasses in my room. The hotel had mistakenly checked a complete stranger into the room where all my personal and professional belongings were kept! The management’s excuse was even more insulting: they claimed they "never moved" my room in the system, despite physically handing me a new key. The level of mismanagement and the total breach of privacy/security is unacceptable. Coming back to find a stranger has been given access to your room is a massive safety concern. I now have serious trust issues with this brand. I will never stay at this hotel again, nor will I step foot in any AC Marriott in the UK. Truly unprofessional and a complete disaster for business travelers. Avoid at all costs.
